Glucagon Receptor Family

Antibodies to Interacting Proteins

Glucagon-like peptides 1 and 2 are two peptides secreted following food consumption. They exert their effect via glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor and glucagon-like peptide 2 receptor respectively. The expression of the formeer receptor is more limited than that of glucagon-like peptide 2 receptor. The glucagon-like peptide 1 system may serve as a target for the treatment of diabetes.
