Multiplex Staining Products

Alomone Labs has developed two innovative platforms for studying protein-protein interaction and/or protein co-localization in complex immunostaining or immunoprecipitation protocols:

ATTO-Conjugated Antibodies: These antibodies can be used in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry (ICC) with same species antibodies.

Save time and resources with ONE antibody.

Benefits of immunostaining with ATTO-conjugated antibodies:
Direct immuno-fluorescence
Secondary antibodies are not necessary
Ideal for immuno-colocalization with same species/host antibodies

Guinea Pig-Raised Antibodies: Antibodies raised in guinea pig can be used with any non-guinea pig second species antibodies (e.g. antibodies raised in mouse, rabbit, goat, etc.) in complex immunostaining or immunoprecipitation protocols. Our line of guinea pig raised antibodies can be combined with any of our rabbit-raised or ATTO-conjugated antibodies in complex immunostaining protocols.

Calcium Homeostasis Modulators

Calcium homeostasis has major roles in different extra and intra cellular processes and is therefore crucial for cell physiology. CALHM channel gating is regulated allosterically by both voltage and Ca2+ concentration. Low concentrations of Ca2+ and depolarization cause channel activation. The molecular basis for voltage-dependent gating remains unknown. CALHM3 channels do not have canonical voltage sensors as found in other channels. CALHM channels poorly discriminate cations and anions enabling signaling molecules such as Ca2+ and ATP to permeate to its pore. This suggests a non-discriminatory ion selectivity filter or a wide ion conduction pore. Recent studies have shown that it is the latter and not the former that accounts for weak ion selectivity.
