Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) or Luteinizing hormone releasing hormone (LHRH) is a decapeptide synthesized and released from neurons in the hypothalamus and stimulates the synthesis and release of gonadotropin hormone (or luteinizing hormone) and follicle stimulating hormone from the pituitary gland.
