TRPC3 channel was found to be significantly overexpressed in human ovarian cancer samples, as shown in western blot analysis using Alomone Labs Anti-TRPC3 Antibody (#ACC-016). Furthermore, knocking down TRPC3 channel reduced proliferation of cells and suppressed tumor formation in nude mice.

Voltage-gated Na+ channels are not only expressed in excitable cells where they mediate membrane depolarization, but they are also expressed in non-excitable cells like macrophages as a splice variant. Immunohistochemistry staining using Alomone Labs Anti-NaV1.6 (SCN8A) Antibody (#ASC-009) demonstrate that in macrophages, NaV1.6 is expressed intracellularly, in vesicles associated with actin. The role of NaV1.6 in such cells is to promote their invasion and movement via podosomes.
