Human TRPV2/VRL1 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-CC139) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-Human TRPV2 (VRL1) (extracellular) Antibody (#ACC-139) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-Human TRPV2/VRL1 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
- Western blot analysis of human HMC3 microglial (lanes 1 and 5), Jurkat T-cell leukemia (lanes 2 and 6), HepG2 liver hepatoma (lanes 3 and 7) and chronic myelogenous K562 leukemia (lanes 4 and 8) cell lysates:
- (C)KQAAPHLKAEVGNS, corresponding to amino acid residues 417-430 of human TRPV2 (Accession Q9Y5S1).
