Human C5aR1 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-AR032) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-Human C5aR1 (extracellular) Antibody (#AAR-032) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-Human C5aR1 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
- Western blot analysis of Human K562 myelogenous leukemia (lanes 1 and 4), MEG-01 chronic myelogenous leukemia cell (lanes 2 and 5), and THP-1 acute monocytic leukemia (lanes 3 and 6) cell lysates:
- (C)DKDTLDLNTPVDK, corresponding to amino acid residues 16-28 of human C5a anaphylatoxin receptor (Accession P21730).
