Human CCR2 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-CR022) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-Human CCR2 (extracellular) Antibody (#ACR-022) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-Human CCR2 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
- Western blot analysis of human acute monocytic leukemia THP-1 (lanes 1 and 3) and human promyelocytic leukemia HL-60 (lanes 2 and 4) cell line lysates:
- RNTNESGEEVTTFFD(C), corresponding to amino acid residues 11-25 of human CCR2 (Accession P41597).
