KCNH2/HERG (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-PC109) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-KCNH2 (HERG) (extracellular) Antibody (#APC-109) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-KCNH2/HERG (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.

Transversal section of the atrium wall; note that arterial smooth muscle fibers were not stained (green arrow). B. Longitudinal section of the myocardium. C. Section showing myocardium and endocardium (red arrow). DAB product is brown and the counterstain is cresyl violet.
