CACNB1 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-CC106) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-CACNB1 Antibody (#ACC-106) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-CACNB1 primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.

- Expression of CACNB1 (CaVβ1) in rat hippocampusImmunohistochemical staining of rat hippocampus using Anti-CACNB1 Antibody (#ACC-106). A. CaVβ1 staining (red) appears in dendrites of the stratum radiatum (arrow). B. Nuclear staining using DAPI as the counterstain (blue). C. Merge image of A and B.
