Human CCR3 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-CR023) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-Human CCR3 (extracellular) Antibody (#ACR-023) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-Human CCR3 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
- Western blot analysis of human malignant melanoma cell line Malme-3M (lanes 1 and 3) and human monocytic leukemia THP-1 cell line (lanes 2 and 4) lysates:
- CSALYPEDTVYSWRH, corresponding to amino acid residues 183-197 of human CCR3 (Accession P51677).
