LPAR2/EDG4 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-LR032) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-LPAR2 (EDG4) (extracellular) Antibody (#ALR-032) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-LPAR2/EDG4 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
- Western blot analysis of rat colon (lanes 1 and 3) and human colorectal adenocarcinoma (colo205) (lanes 2 and 4) lysates:
- (C)NSGKELSLHWRPKD, corresponding to amino acid residues 16-29 of mouse LPA2 receptor (Accession Q9JL06).
