NPY2R Blocking Peptide (#BLP-NR022) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-NPY2R Antibody (#ANR-022) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-NPY2R primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.

- Expression of neuropeptide Y2 receptor in rat cerebellumImmunohistochemical staining of frozen section of rat cerebellum using Anti-NPY2R Antibody (#ANR-022), (1:100). NPY2R (red) is detected in Purkinje cells. B. Nuclei were stained using DAPI as the counterstain. C. Merged image of A and B.
