S1PR2/EDG5 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-SR012) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-S1PR2 (EDG5) Antibody (#ASR-012) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-S1PR2/EDG5 primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
- Western blot analysis of rat kidney (lanes 1 and 3), rat heart (lanes 2 and 4), human SH-SY5Y brain neuroblastoma (lanes 5 and 7) and Human MS-1 neuroendocrine skin carcinoma cell (lanes 6 and 8) lysates:
- Expression of Sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor 2 in rat lungImmunohistochemical staining of paraffin embedded rat lung sections using Anti-S1PR2 (EDG5) Antibody (#ASR-012), (1:100). S1PR2 is expressed in respiratory epithelium (red arrows). Hematoxilin is used as the counterstain.
