CACNB3 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-CC008) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-CACNB3 Antibody (#ACC-008) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-CACNB3 primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.

- Expression of CACNB3 (CaVβ3) in rat hippocampusImmunohistochemical staining of rat hippocampus with Anti-CACNB3 Antibody (#ACC-008). A. CaVβ3 (red) appears in neurons (arrows). B. Staining of nerve cells with mouse anti-parvalbumin demonstrates the restriction of CaVβ3 to cell bodies. C. Merged image of panels A and B.
