CLIC4 Blocking Peptide (#BLP-CL024) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-CLIC4 Antibody (#ACL-024) generation. The blocking peptide binds and ‘blocks’ Anti-CLIC4 primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
- Western blot analysis of human pancreatic carcinoma PANC-1 (lanes 1 and 4), mouse kidney (lanes 2 and 5) and rat kidney (lanes 3 and 6) lysates:
- (C)NGLKEEDKEPLIE, corresponding to amino acid residues 8-20 of human CLIC4 (Accession Q9Y696).
