Shipping and storage Shipped at room temperature. Product as supplied can be stored intact at room temperature for several weeks. For longer periods, it should be stored at -20°C.
Solubility Any aqueous buffer. Centrifuge all product preparations before use (10000 x g 5 min).

- Hemitoxin is a 35 amino acid peptidyl toxin isolated from the Hemiscorpius lepturus scorpion venom and belongs to the αKTx6 family1. It reversibly blocks KV1.1, KV1.2 and KV1.3 voltage-gated K+ channels with an IC50 of 13 nM, 16 nM and 2 nM, respectively1. It shares 80% sequence similarity with Maurotoxin, and has a unique pairing of its four disulfide bridges1.
